Description
The Kuroten Navy has recently began to capture the giant sea turtles that roam the seas of Shinkami Dao. These turtles, once sacred and protected are now being snared in nets and dragged back to these docks where they undergo brutal transformations. Large platforms are hammered into their shells to hold weapons platforms and spaces for troops. Large caps are mounted to their heads, these often feature large prows that can be used to ram ships. To control the turtles they are tortured over and over to make them submissive and then they are directed by a bridle. To prevent the turtles to submerge, wooden hulls are mounted to various parts of the turtles body, if the turtle attempts to sink below the surface, the wood floats and causes spikes to dig into the turtles flesh. Despite the brutal methods employed to transform these turtles, they are very well cared for and their wounds well treated. To have crippled or sick turtles would compromise their effectiveness as weapons.
